Welcome to the homepage for Homegrown, the Pioneer Valley's weekly live local television music show. Homegrown is produced at the Greenfield Community Television Studio, 393 Main St in Greenfield MA and goes out to over 600,000 potential viewers on 19 local cable access stations. Towns served are:

Homegrown has produced over 300 shows since its 1997 inception by WRSI's Johnny Memphis. Our mission has stayed the same through the years: 1) provide a quality show that acts as a widely viewed promotional venue for both professional and amateur musicians and 2) to archive performances of the diverse and talented Pioneer Valley music community.

NEWS:

Added Schenectedy NY, and East Longmeadow MA as well as a sattelite feed to 120 million viewers in Europe (subtitled in German!). The production crew is firing on all cylinders as we close out our 2008 season. We have a lot of great acts lined up for 2009 and hope to double our US broadcast base over the next year. Stay tuned!

- A decade of local live music! Homegrown enters its 10th year on the air! Homegrown is turning 10 years old this coming July. We're hoping to throw a concert in celebration, stay tuned for details.

- We need volunteers! Get involved in promoting the local music community while gaining video and audio production skills. Stop by the studio at 393 Main St in Greenfield (next to the Garden Cinema) on a Monday night at 6:00 for details.

- Our forum has been hacked. It was a scripted hack on our shared server, no big deal, but it proved to be too much of a a PIA for our webmaster. Homegrown may recreate the forum at some point, but until then we've taken it offline.
