Cost effective New England television exposure
Homegrown
is a popular regional television show with a household reach
of over 600,000 people in the greater Pioneer
Valley Massachusetts area.
Homegrown
underwriters receive a 10 second slate at both the beginning
and ending of
the show with voice-over narration that
may include contact information, websites, etc.. The host will
regularly mention something, a description of the
business or an upcoming event, about an underwriter during the
opening monologue or performer interview. Homegrown will also provide
a link with business description from www.valleyhomegrown.com to
an underwriter's
website and list all sponsors on flyers.
Underwriting
funds go to general production costs, promotional costs, expansion
into other large regional cable access markets,
volunteer training, much needed equipment upgrades (all to
GCTV for use by all community members) and an occasional volunteer
crew pizza party. All excess funds will go to GCTV for equipment
use.

and has both showcased and archived more than 300 local
music performances.

Homegrown
is a completely volunteer run organization that serves to raise
equipment monies for GCTV and all Greenfield MA television producers,
provide training for its volunteer crew, and offer a professional-caliber
free promotional service to regional musicians.
Underwriting
for the year is a sliding scale once yearly fee:
- $600
for small local businesses

and banks.
